Uh oh... J's gonna kill me.
I read It's Not Work, It's Gardening! today and now I want a plumeria plant.
Apparently they're low maintenance, which is nice.
And the flowers are so pretty.
And they smell lovely.
And they can be grown in containers.
And now I have to find room at home for one...
I know that plumeria is indeed a low maintenance plant...in the tropics. I hope that your growing conditions resemble a tropical environment. :)
ReplyDeleteI still remember the plumeria tree that I used to climb as a kid. The wood is not so hard and that scared my mother most of the time.
Have fun!
plumeria is one of my favorite flowers. the smell transports me to hawaii.
ReplyDeletei wonder if you can buy a plant that's already far along so the flowers come a little easier? one of the blogs i follow is "waiting for plumeria"--so called because she had to wait years for her plumeria to bloom.
that sure is a beautiful bloom. A gardening board that I am on every day during the winter has a thread called subject of the day and it is a different flower everyday. Talk about a wish list that goes on for ever.
ReplyDeleteuh oh, I may have been inspired to hunt one down now!
